How parents get involved
Parent involvement is one of the three pillars this school rests on — alongside teacher leadership and community support.
What the PTA does
The Parent Teacher Association brings families and staff together to support school events, fundraising and community-building activities. All parents and guardians are warmly invited to participate; meeting schedules and contact information are shared during the school year.
Volunteering
Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer at school events, field trips and classroom activities.
Volunteers check in at the Front Office like any visitor — buzz for entry, sign in, wear a badge — and follow guidance from the classroom teacher or event coordinator.
Help shape it
Meeting cadence, the first meeting date, and who to contact. Until then, families who want to help can write to the office.
Visiting rules apply to volunteers too
Give the teacher at least one day's notice for a classroom visit; visits run 30–60 minutes and are discouraged in the first and last three weeks and during testing. Preschool-age children shouldn't accompany visitors.
